It was an honour for World Garden Schools to be at the BBC Gardeners’ World Spring Fair as the only children’s workshop provider at the event. And over the three days, we saw many budding little gardeners and their adults getting stuck into the workshops as well as the cactus-potting station, with the nutritious compost provided by Soil Ninja.

The facilitators, Aleena, Hasnaa, Nyasha, Rashidat and Thiery, were run off their feet at times but were always there to encourage and motivate young gardeners – including free face-painting!
